About the Role
Our client, a leading name in the FMCG industry, is seeking an organized and visually astute Merchandising Coordinator to join their commercial team in Mahikeng. This role is key to ensuring that our products are displayed effectively and attractively in retail environments, maximizing sales potential and brand visibility. You will be responsible for implementing merchandising plans, coordinating with sales teams, and ensuring that retail partners adhere to brand standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for retail presentation to contribute directly to product success in the busy market of Mahikeng.
- Implement visual merchandising plans and standards across retail outlets to enhance product appeal and sales.
- Coordinate with the sales team and retail partners to ensure timely execution of merchandising initiatives.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure that products are replenished and displayed appropriately.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams on in-store execution and competitor activities.
- Assist in the development of merchandising materials and guidelines for retail partners.
- Ensure brand consistency and visual impact of product displays in stores.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in marketing or retail is beneficial.
- Proven experience in merchandising, visual display, or a related retail support role, preferably in FMCG.
- A strong understanding of retail display principles and consumer buying behavior.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaaccommodate with store staff and sales representatives.
