About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Sales Consultant to serve the agricultural sector in the Upington, Northern Cape region. This role involves promoting and selling specialized agricultural products and solutions directly to farmers and agricultural businesses. You will need to possess a strong understanding of farming practices and challenges within the region to effectively advise clients. This hybrid role allows for flexibility, combining field visits with remote administrative and planning tasks, optimizing your efficiency and reach.

• Develop and execute sales strategies for agricultural products within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural businesses.
• Provide expert advice on product application and best practices to clients.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets for agricultural products and solutions.
• Stay informed about agricultural trends, challenges, and new technologies relevant to the region.

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural sector .
• Strong understanding of farming operations and challenges in the Northern Cape .
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid setup.
• A relevant qualification in Agriculture or a related field is advantageous.
