Senior Frontend Developer - React & UI Development

Our client, a dynamic web solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in React to join their team in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is integral to the design and development of sophisticated user interfaces for a variety of web applications. You will be responsible for translating complex requirements into elegant, performant, and user-friendly interfaces, working closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and performant user interfaces using React.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional, well-structured code.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic via RESTful APIs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS

• In-depth experience with React and its core principles (components, state, props, hooks).
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
