About the Role

Our client, a growing retail business in Mahikeng , is seeking an organized and efficient Logistics Coordinator to manage the distribution of goods to its various stores. This hybrid role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of merchandise, optimizing inventory flow, and maintaining strong relationships with transport partners. You will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, managing schedules, and ensuring all shipments meet quality and delivery standards.

• Coordinate the scheduling and execution of all inbound and outbound shipments for retail distribution.
• Manage relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates on delivery status to relevant stakeholders.
• Optimize delivery routes and methods to reduce transit times and costs.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and delivery records.
• Resolve any logistical issues, discrepancies, or customer service complaints related to deliveries.
• Collaborate with inventory management and store operations teams to ensure product availability.

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, preferably in retail distribution .
• Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, and transportation principles.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with logistics software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
