Hazardous Materials Transport Driver

Our client requires a highly skilled and certified Hazardous Materials Transport Driver to operate specialized vehicles in and around Mahikeng . This critical role demands an unwavering commitment to safety, compliance, and the secure transportation of dangerous goods. You will be responsible for ensuring that all loads are handled according to stringent regulations, protecting both the public and the environment. This position is suited for an experienced driver with the necessary qualifications and a meticulous approach to safety protocols in the North West province.

• Operate trucks equipped for the transport of hazardous materials safely and compliantly.
• Ensure all hazardous materials are loaded, secured, and transported according to strict regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and safety equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to hazardous material transport.
• Respond appropriately to any spills, leaks, or emergencies involving hazardous cargo.
• Adhere to all company policies and governmental regulations concerning hazmat transportation.

• Valid Code 14 (EC) driver's license with an applicable PDP.
• Specific certification and endorsements for transporting hazardous materials (e.g., Hazchem).
