About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Operator to manage transportation routes in and around Mahikeng, North West . This role is pivotal for the timely delivery of goods to various business and residential locations. You will be responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles, ensuring cargo is delivered accurately and efficiently, while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

• Operate commercial vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans) for the delivery of goods across designated routes.
• Ensure safe and secure loading and unloading of cargo, verifying against delivery manifests.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details.
• Adhere to all road safety laws, company policies, and traffic regulations.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers at the point of delivery.

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the commercial vehicles operated (e.g., Code 10 or Code 14 ).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a commercial vehicle driver or in a similar role.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the road network in the North West province .
• Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
