Dispatch Coordinator

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatch Coordinator to manage the outbound logistics process from their facility in Upington . This role is crucial for ensuring that all customer orders are processed, prepared, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic operational environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate the daily dispatch of all outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Liaise with transportation providers to book appropriate carriers and confirm pickup/delivery schedules.
• Prepare and verify all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, waybills, and export/import declarations.
• Ensure all orders are accurately picked, packed, and staged for dispatch.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the dispatch process.

• Previous experience in a dispatch , logistics, or transportation coordination role.
• Strong understanding of shipping procedures, documentation, and carrier operations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
