Warehouse Team Lead

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to supervise operations at their facility in Mahikeng . You will be responsible for guiding a team of warehouse associates, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse processes, and the ability to foster a positive and productive team environment.

You will play a crucial role in the daily management of warehouse activities, contributing to overall operational success.

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure that all warehouse operations , including receiving, stocking, and shipping, are conducted efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and best practices.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Provide training to new team members and ongoing development for existing staff.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a warehouse setting.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management , and order fulfillment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks as needed.
