Inventory Clerk

Our client is seeking a diligent and accurate Inventory Clerk to manage stock records and ensure the integrity of inventory data for their operations in Upington . This role is fundamental to the success of the Logistics & Warehousing department, requiring meticulous attention to detail in tracking inventory levels, processing stock movements, and performing regular audits. You will play a vital role in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting efficient warehouse operations through accurate record-keeping.

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's inventory management system.
• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
• Process incoming and outgoing stock movements, ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist with the organization and layout of warehouse stock for efficient retrieval.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and stock turnover.

• Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
