Clinical Laboratory Scientist – San Antonio Regional Hospital

Clinical Laboratory Scientists perform moderate and high complexity testing in one or more areas including chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology.

• Experience: One (1) year experience in a licensed acute care hospital is preferred.

  The scientist may or may not perform all essential job functions. Employee must demonstrate age‑specific competencies for the specific work area.

  Valid State of California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or valid State license as a Clinical Microbiology Scientist (MTE) (for Microbiology position only).
• Equipment: Proficient in the use of computerized systems and automated instrumentation.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical duties of the job as noted.

$42.50 - $63.50

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
