Senior Network Engineer

Position at San Antonio Regional Hospital.

• Responsible for planning, designing, engineering configuration, and troubleshooting complex data, video, and voice networks.
• Interact with customers and vendors (independently, following management guidelines) to ensure networking components of the IT infrastructure—hardware, software, data and voice communications, wired and wireless network components—are designed, installed, configured, and maintained appropriately.
• Manage configurations of end‑user networked devices and ensure routing and framework protocols and 3rd‑party components function correctly.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications, experience, and demonstrable knowledge to perform duties.
• Experience: Five years in a medium to large enterprise setting with Cisco ASA Firepower firewalls, Cisco core switches, Cisco 3850/9300 switches, Cisco 5520 wireless controllers, Cisco 3602/3702/3802 APs, Fat Pipe WARP, and microwave networks.
• Knowledge and
  
  Skills:
  
  Network infrastructure configuration (routers, switches), hardware/software upgrades, network protocols, LAN/WAN based networks.
• License/
  
  Certifications:
  
  MCSE preferred, CISSP preferred, CCNA preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential physical requirements of the job.

$41.30 - $61.96 per hour.
