As a Construction Manager Telecom, you will report directly to the Director of Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of field units, carrying out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, while managing all operational aspects of the Center.

- Provide leadership through a hands‑on approach for overall day‑to‑day operations of the Center.
- Create and maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, excavators, and employees.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the Center for all employees.
- Build and train a team of supervisors who are driven and understand the business key performance indicators and economic engines.
- Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control.
- Participate in financial forecasting and budget preparation.
- Reduce unnecessary expenses, damages, and risk for company liability in auto accidents and workers’ compensation cases.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular performance feedback and development opportunities.
- Observe activities to ensure compliance with government regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct investigations as needed, resolve issues and concerns in partnership with other departments.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement policies and administrative procedures.
- Review daily and weekly scorecards and communicate expectations to field techs to ensure performance metrics are achieved.
- Represent the company at damage prevention forums and community meetings.
- Develop technicians and oversee employee engagement and morale.
- Oversee and approve day‑to‑day load management activity.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Valid state driver’s license (non‑provisional) with acceptable driving record.
- B.S./B.A. degree preferred.
- Five or more years of management and/or supervisory experience (required).
- Utility locating or related industry experience preferred.
- Advanced technical skills with various computer applications and experience using Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with attention to detail, individually and collaboratively, meet demanding deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, and prioritize workflow.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals at all levels and areas within the organization.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast‑paced and dynamic work environment.
- Exemplary communication skills with the ability to present and consult with all levels throughout financial and executive leadership.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Must have 5 years management experience in underground and overhead construction.
- Must pass extensive background investigation, DMV background, and drug screen.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
