A facility in Urbana, IL is looking for a locum tenens Gastroenterologist to assist with clinic and procedural coverage starting ASAP!

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 7:30 AM start for MAC blocks. The role consists of 40% outpatient clinic time, with 30-minute consults and 1530-minute follow-ups, and 60% GI procedure lab time, where procedure length is based on the average of the last 30 cases. Sedation is either procedure sedation or MAC, depending on criteria, with separate MAC blocks for qualifying patients.

Candidates must be Board Certified and hold an active IL license to apply. Credentialing will take approximately 60-90 days.

• Case Load/PPD: variable – all general GI procedures
• Support Staff: 6 full-time and 2 part-time Ambulatory APPs in clinic. RN and CMA/MA in clinic; RN and Surg tech in Procedures.
