• Contribute to teaching excellence at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Finance and related disciplines.
• Engage in high-quality research and publish in top academic journals.
• Secure external competitive research grants and collaborate with faculty, industry, and professional bodies.
• Contribute to the Department, the Faculty of Business, and the University through service activities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Assist in curriculum development and supervision of graduate research where applicable.

• A relevant PhD degree in Finance or related discipline.
• Outstanding research and teaching potentials.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Distinguishing advantages include a strong publication record, professional qualifications (e.g., CFA), relevant administrative and teaching experience, and/or connections with financial institutions in Hong Kong and major professional bodies.
• Experience in submitting applications for RGC grants and other local/overseas competitive grants or fellowships is a plus.

The conditions of appointment are competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and incoming passage and baggage allowances for eligible appointees.

Appointment will normally be made on an initial contract of three years, which may lead to longer-term appointment with potential for substantiation, subject to mutual agreement.
