Welder

Flex-N-Gate is seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Welder will weld component parts and assemblies to produce finished products that meet company and customer quality standards. Responsibilities include setting up welding equipment, securing parts in fixtures, inspecting completed welds, and maintaining safe and efficient production.

• Perform MIG welding on component parts and assemblies according to work instructions and established quality standards.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Position and secure parts using fixtures, clamps, and jigs.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance.
• Grind, clean, and prepare welded parts as needed.
• Perform basic measurements and visual inspections to verify product quality.
• Meet established quality and productivity expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned.

• Previous MIG welding experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Welding certification preferred but not required.

This position works in an indoor manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, vibration, welding fumes, and moving equipment. Work is performed in a fast-paced production setting. Due to production operations and limited climate control, facility temperatures may be elevated during warmer months.
