Carle Health is seeking a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider to join The Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Primarily an inpatient position with some clinic responsibilities
• Join a growing team of Neurosurgeons, Neuro-interventional radiologists, daytime Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Providers and nocturnist Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Providers
• The department is adopting an APP-Surgeon Practice Model that will allow for practice consistency, education, and feedback
• Schedule is 4, 10-hour shifts.
• Weekend rotation;
  Weekend coverage 1:5
• Coordinate ongoing patient care including initial consultations, rounding with the surgeons, follow-ups and provide patient/family education
• Experience with neurological conditions preferred

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant

Candidates with prior Neurosurgery experience preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Current Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure/Physician Assistant licensure

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $59.38 - $77.20/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
