Neonatal NP/PA Opportunity at Level III NICU in Central IllinoisCarle Health is seekingNeonatal Nurse PractitionersorPhysician Assistantsto join our Level III NICU team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Join a growing team of8 Nurse Practitioners and6 Neonatologists
- 48-bed NICU including a 14-bed step-down unit
- Dedicated 24-hour Neonatologist Physician team coverage
- Schedule will consist of a combination of 10-24 hour shifts, depending on experience
- 600+ admissions and 3000+ deliveries per year
- Attend high risk deliveries and perform standard NICU procedures such as: intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, Umbilical Catheterization, and chest tubes
- Dedicated Neonatal and Perinatal air and ground transport team
- Flexible schedule including evenings/nights and holidays
Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- PA applicants will need to have completed a NICU APP Fellowship or have previous experience practicing as a NICU PA
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse license. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification and licensure required.
