Inside Sales/Customer Service Specialist

IMCO Utility Supply has an immediate opportunity for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Specialist in our Urbana, IL branch.

We are looking for a career‑minded individual seeking a long‑term career opportunity with a growth‑oriented company. Waterworks, plumbing, construction or a similar industry experience is required, and blueprint take‑off experience is a plus. The candidate must be self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, customer‑minded with excellent communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Provide inside sales support for our Outside Sales team
• Assist customers and identify needs, provide product knowledge assistance, and assist in delivery scheduling, special orders, etc.
• Assist throughout the full lifecycle of sales: creating quotes, entering orders, scheduling deliveries, working with vendors on scheduling deliveries and ordering specials.

1–2 years minimum experience in a similar industry.

IMCO Utility is a regional wholesale distributor of water and sewer products. IMCO was established in 1957 and remains a family‑owned company. Our customer base consists of utility contractors, fire protection, and municipalities in central and southern Illinois, and eastern Missouri. Our product offerings include pipe, valves, hydrants, and accessory items necessary for the installation of water, sewer, and storm sewer lines and other underground utilities.
