Summary
The Rental Sales Representative is responsible for acting as the front‑line sales agent for the rental of vehicles to the Company's current lease and commercial rental accounts, as well as potential commercial rental customers and consumer household needs. This requires the Rental Representative to work cross‑functionally across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Asset Management while utilizing excellent customer communication skills.
Essential Functions- Sales & Marketing:
Handle inbound and outbound sales processes, execute the business unit's marketing plan, maintain accurate marketing data, maximize market rate opportunities, generate rental, lease, and used‑vehicle sales leads, expand relationships with existing customers, coordinate inventory levels, and achieve overall Ryder market share objectives. - Operations & Asset Management:
Ensure profitable operations and asset management of a rental location; coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to satisfy customer needs; maintain compliance with all applicable regulations; understand marketplace conditions to maximize fleet utilization. - Customer:
Drive profitable revenue growth by maintaining and growing customer relationships; ensure overall satisfaction for all internal and external customers; reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes. - Communication:
Build constructive relationships with both internal and external customers; remain composed during stressful situations; clearly articulate Ryder's product and service offerings.
- On a voluntary basis and as scheduling requires, perform the role of On‑Call Representative per supervisor instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation InformationHourly. Minimum pay range: $20.00;
Maximum pay range: $22.00.
