We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Journeyman to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for the installation and maintenance of all electrical aspects of the facility and equipment, including lighting, presses, paint line, and compressors.

- Electrical Maintenance Journeyman
Starting Pay Rate: $34.00 per hour (after 6 months $35.00)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, with mandatory overtime as needed
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities- Maintain all motor control systems and all electrical aspects of pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot electrical circuit issues
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints and schematics
- Safely operate cranes, hoists, forklift, and man-lift
- Collaborate with maintenance trades and components such as electrical, welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, mechanical, and Tool and Die
- Perform general repairs to heavy machinery and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace adhering to safety and quality standards
- Employees are required to provide their own tools
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to see color vision and distinguish color variations
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work within a team setting
- Health and safety compliance training programs and departmental work instructions in English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in awkward positions, including overhead work
- Climb ladders up to 20 feet and on top of equipment when needed
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands, and reach above and below shoulder level
- Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to pass pulmonary function test and respirator exam to wear negative pressure respiratory protection
- Must be clean shaven at facepiece-to-face-sealing surface when wearing a respirator
- If vision corrective lenses are worn, must be able to wear glasses (contacts not allowed under certain conditions)
- Weight limitation: must weigh no more than 310 pounds (person plus tools) to use fall protection equipment
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Manufacturing facility; non-climate-controlled environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and loud environments
- Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration
