Perform finish and trim carpentry according to plans and specificationsMeasure, cut, and install base and casing, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, siding, flooring, etc.Design, build, and install cabinets for new and refurbished homes/officesErect scaffolding or ladders as neededCollaborate with other carpenters, craftsmen, and subcontractors to complete projectsTroubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipmentFollow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksiteOrganize equipment within the warehouseMonitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns to ensure customer needs are metQualifications:
High school diploma/GEDEffective verbal communicationBasic math skillsStrong attention to detailBlueprint reading skillsAble to use common hand and power toolsMust have own trade toolsIICRC certifications preferredExperience with new construction and/or remodels preferred, but not requiredPrevious estimating and material ordering experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to travel locallyAbility to successfully complete a background check and drug screenMust possess a valid driver’s licensePhysical and Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistanceExposure to chemicalsWalking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbingAbility to climb ladders and work at ceiling heightsAbility to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces under buildings)Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objectsAll employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO Franchise.
