Primary Activities/Duties:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to produce sheet metal and enclosure components.
  • Follow production schedules and work instructions to meet daily output goals.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure product quality.
  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machines to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect parts for defects and verify conformance to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6‑S and safety standards.
  • Complete required documentation and labeling of parts and materials.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Participate in cross‑training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.
  • Lift 25–50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level.
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing assignments.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Safety Requirements:
  • Safety glasses with side shields
  • Hearing protection
  • Other PPE as required.
Knowledge &

Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Experience with brake press, CNC, or other metal fabrication equipment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, material handling equipment, and basic mechanical skills.
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is helpful.
  • Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noise.
