• Holding primary responsibility for the clinical operations.
• Directs, plans, and coordinates service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary personnel in rendering resident care.
• Interprets facility policies and regulations to all nursing personnel.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Evaluates nursing services rendered in order to improve quality of resident care and to better utilize staff and their abilities.
• Ensures the provision of in-service training programs for nursing personnel.

• Valid RN license in good standing with the State of Ohio.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions as necessary.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration.
