A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a General Accounting Specialist

Position type:
Contract to Hire
Duration: 3+ months
Location:
Urbandale Iowa 50322 (Hybrid)

• Prepare journal entries, payments, billing, and accounting reports.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Process refunds, payments, and carrier transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOX, GAAP, and other regulations.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and support process improvements.

• Recent college graduate with limited or internship level experience. The role would also require them to be in the office 6 times a month, our current schedule is every Monday and every other Friday.
• Associate’s degree
• 1-3 years of experience
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with MS Excel

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $ 20 - $24/per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
