Position Summary / Objective

The Copier Setup Technician II is responsible for leading large/complex projects, as well as preparing all new copier equipment for sale, taking care to meet or exceed all established quality assurance standards.

Essential Functions
  • Act as the primary point of contact and lead on large/complex setup projects including but not limited to Interterritorial, Enhanced Copier Solutions, multi‑machine multi‑location deals, and tracking of supporting documentation via Share Point or relevant tools.
  • Perform assembly and setup of equipment utilizing the proper setup checklists, prioritizing based on the setup schedule.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during setup, utilizing any resource available to ensure proper setup, exceeding all established quality assurance standards.
  • Test all functions following guidelines set by the setup checklist.
  • Clean all surfaces of equipment to acceptable quality assurance standards.
  • Perform all necessary administrative functions in ERP system and fill out all applicable documents to support the setup process.
  • Move products in and around the distribution centers and to and from off‑site storage.
  • Accurately and completely follow setup checklist/guidelines.
  • Order all parts and supplies needed to perform setup.
  • Prepare all new product for delivery.
  • Accurately maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry.
  • Maintain and promptly clean all work spaces.
  • Maintain 85% accountable time including approved training.
  • Attend required company and departmental meetings.
  • Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma and two years of experience in a technical/mechanical role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate degree is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of personal insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
