Position Summary / Objective
The Copier Setup Technician II is responsible for leading large/complex projects, as well as preparing all new copier equipment for sale, taking care to meet or exceed all established quality assurance standards.
Essential Functions- Act as the primary point of contact and lead on large/complex setup projects including but not limited to Interterritorial, Enhanced Copier Solutions, multi‑machine multi‑location deals, and tracking of supporting documentation via Share Point or relevant tools.
- Perform assembly and setup of equipment utilizing the proper setup checklists, prioritizing based on the setup schedule.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during setup, utilizing any resource available to ensure proper setup, exceeding all established quality assurance standards.
- Test all functions following guidelines set by the setup checklist.
- Clean all surfaces of equipment to acceptable quality assurance standards.
- Perform all necessary administrative functions in ERP system and fill out all applicable documents to support the setup process.
- Move products in and around the distribution centers and to and from off‑site storage.
- Accurately and completely follow setup checklist/guidelines.
- Order all parts and supplies needed to perform setup.
- Prepare all new product for delivery.
- Accurately maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry.
- Maintain and promptly clean all work spaces.
- Maintain 85% accountable time including approved training.
- Attend required company and departmental meetings.
- Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma and two years of experience in a technical/mechanical role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate degree is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of personal insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in working with technical and non‑technical people, and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relations among all levels of an organization.
- Strong ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; work well in group problem‑solving situations.
