Agricultural Programs Interpreter
Reports to: Farm Managers/Agricultural Lead at 1900 Farm, 1850 Farm and 1700 farm, based on assignment
Supervises: Seasonal Interpreters, interns, volunteers.
Status: Full time (32-40 hours weekly), hourly, non-exempt.
Salary Range: $10-$12/hour based on experience.
Job Summary: Entry level Agricultural Interpretive position focused on daily hands‑on activities and agricultural demonstrations at the working farms sites.
- Interacting with museum guests
- Providing excellent public programming and customer service
- Supporting farm site supervisors with chores and site upkeep
- Working with livestock and agricultural fields
- Supervising seasonal staff on supervisors’ days off
- Cross‑training to other LHF historic sites, including Walnut Hill 1875 town, as assigned
