Sage Ag Inc. is currently seeking hardworking, self-motivated, & detailed oriented individuals who are passionate about agricultural/construction technology & machinery. Through this position, you will be working with a major agricultural/construction machinery manufacturer with cutting edge technology in a test field and lab environment. In this exciting position, you will be coordinating logistics of test equipment, conducting test plans, performing root cause analysis, tracking issues and the progress of solutions, and communicating with customers, product managers, developers, and engineers on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:  
• Provide in-field engineering support, including data collection, field test, troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve, and document all aspects of the products  
• Executing test plans that verify software meets technical and customer requirements  
• Building wire harnesses used for testing and data collection on machines  
• Building kits used for testing and data collection on machines  
• Supporting customers in the field with software updates and troubleshooting issues  
• Safely operate large agricultural equipment for testing purposes  
• Setting up and executing tests on vehicles in the field or in a lab environment  
• Deliver validation feedback against project requirements  
• Documentation and reporting results from executing manual/automated/semi-automated tests.  
• Collaborate with software developers to triage failures and help identify root cause.  
• Perform hands-on set-up, maintenance, testing and customization in the field per engineering test requirements  
• Install test equipment on customer machines in field Requirements  
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 in a technical field such as (Systems Technology, Ag Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering); or related degree with equivalent technical experience  
• Some knowledge of agricultural harvesting equipment and working with large machinery  
• Strong technology and computer troubleshooting skills  
• Excellent communication skills  
• Willing to travel up to 50% during US harvest season  
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License w/ clean driving record  
• Out-going and positive attitude  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office  
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently  
• Ability to keep accurate & detailed records of work performed Preferred:  
• Experience troubleshooting and working with complex systems involving software, electronics and mechanical systems  
• Experience with building and troubleshooting wire harnesses  
• Experience operating row crop harvesting equipment. Skills in programming and scripting languages such as Python/C/C++ is not required for this position but useful  
• CAN/J1939/ISOBUS experience  
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
