Part-Time Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Urbandale, IA

Position Type: Part-Time

Schedule: 8 hours per day, 3 days per week, every other weekend required

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role plays an important part in supporting resident comfort, dignity, and overall quality of life.

• Clean and maintain resident rooms and common areas according to established schedules
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Safely use housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies
• Assist with organizing resident spaces to ensure a neat and comfortable environment
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping, nursing, and other facility staff

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to safely handle cleaning equipment and supplies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
