Location: Urbandale, IA, 50322
W2 Contract (No C2C)
Pay rate: $60 - $65 per hour
JOB DUTIES:- Serve as a Senior Developer on the ISG Operations & Enablement team including handling on-call duties.
- Should be able to write code independently without one on one direction.
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal (will be explaining code to team members, supporting other development teams, coaching others to success, frequently pairing)
- Developing automation for cloud accounts, infrastructure, Fin Ops and Enablement.
- Troubleshooting production issues and communicating root cause of problems to others.
- Working with teams globally to support the ISG initiatives.
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal
- Ability to work in a global team environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience with application development and scripting languages
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Able to participate in on-call rotation every month and handle off-hours support work
- Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time or less. Travel will mainly be to an ISG location.
- 4+ years of experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- AWS Certification (Developer/Architect/Dev Ops)
- 4+ years of experience with Python, Boto, Terrafrom, Type Script
- 4+ years of experience with Github Actions CI/CD
- Experience with Agile development processes including:
Test Driven Development, Test Automation, PYTest.
- 6+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services [ECS, S3, ES, Lambda, ELB]
- 2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
- 2+ years of experience with Elastic Search/Open Search administration or support
- 4+ years of experience with infrastructure as code, automation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Experience with applications development environment, database, data administration and infrastructure capabilities and constraints.
