As a Robotics Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group (Urbandale) located in Urbandale, IA , you will be:
Work with other Deere units to commercialize perception solutions on platforms.
Accelerate application opportunities that require a mix of image processing and machine learning.
Focus on C++ software development for applications and integration of the advanced algorithm into the application software that runs on embedded hardware.

What Skills You NeedExperience working with C++ or other Object-Oriented languages.
Experience with software product development through practical work experiences, relevant internships or academic experience.
Experience in roles that required demonstration of excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening and presentation).
Experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, etc.).
Experience with MQTT, UDP, TCP/IP,CAN networking communication protocols.
Experience applying Image processing, OpenCV, Robotics Workbench, Matlab Image Processing Toolbox Applications, Machine Learning, Caffe, or Tensor Flow.
What Makes You StandoutExperience programming in Embedded C software.
Experience or training with multi-threaded systems.
Experience with SCRUM/Agile software development methodologies.
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and software test automation.
EducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree in a related technology field or discipline.
