Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery setting in Usk that is dedicated to providing a safe, engaging and stimulating environment where children can thrive. The setting promotes learning through play and encourages children to develop confidence, independence and key early years skills in a caring atmosphere.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a part time, flexible basis throughout the summer holidays with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children with daily routines including personal care, nap times and play-based learning activities, helping to create a positive and enjoyable experience for every child.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 Childcare qualification is desirable

• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting

• A good understanding of the EYFS framework

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach

• The ability to support children's learning through play

• Flexibility and reliability to work part time shifts throughout the summer holidays
