Glascoed, South Wales Working Arrangements:
Full-time Onsite, Monday to Thursday Duration: 6 months Hourly Rate: £22.69 PAYE or £30.41 Umbrella The Role
We are seeking a proactive Quality Engineer to support operational compliance, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen our Quality Management System. You will play a key role in reducing defects, supporting audits, resolving quality issues, and improving manufacturing performance within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with specifications and ISO 9001 standards
- Review shop floor documentation, drawings, and first-off approvals
- Support internal and external audits
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Monitor reject, rework, and RFT data
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce cost and improve efficiency
- Support non-conformance and quality issue management
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering to enhance QMS processes
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, medical devices, etc.)
