Monmouthshire is the gateway to Wales. The Welsh language is an important part of the culture and heritage of our place. We want someone who can help deliver our ambition of promoting and protecting the language so that more people can live, work and enjoy leisure activities bilingually throughout the county.
You’ll be responsible for helping develop and deliver our Welsh language strategy; promoting the language; managing the translation service; co-ordinating training opportunities to grow the number of Welsh speakers; ensuring compliance with the Welsh language standards and ensuring that our customer channels provide a high quality Welsh language response.
SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
:
Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year. i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers.
