We are seeking a skilled Invasive-Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment in a beautiful area of Utah, near Richmond. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide coverage in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Utah (near Richmond, UT)
• Start Date: January 20, 2025
• End Date: March 31, 2025
• Shift Times: Various shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on specified dates
  • January 20th to February 1st
  • February 10th to February 17th
  • March 10th to March 17th
  • March 24th to March 31st
• Coverage Needed: ER call coverage for interventional cardiology, including primary and interventional call 24/7
• Patient Volume: Approximately 12 patients per day
• Special Skills Needed:
  • Expertise in interventional cardiology
  • Proficiency in echocardiography, including Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)

Key Features of the Role:

• Facility Type: 238-bed facility
• Support Staff: 3-person, 24/7 call team
• Lab Staffing: Two labs staffed Monday to Wednesday, one lab staffed Thursday and Friday
• EMR Systems Used: Epic, Meditech, Merge MUSE
• Call Requirements: Must be available for interventional cardiology call around the clock during the assignment dates

Qualifications:

• Valid Utah medical license required (no exceptions)
• Strong background in invasive interventional cardiology
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with various support staff
• Comfortable working with Epic and Meditech EMR systems
