This 172-bed acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services, advanced technology, and emergency and trauma care. The facility supports a broad range of specialty services and maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient neurology coverage on an on-site basis. Structured workflows are in place to facilitate coordinated neurological care delivery across all assigned coverage periods.

The area surrounding this assignment offers clinicians access to a range of indoor and outdoor attractions suited to varied interests. Local highlights include a museum of ancient life featuring an indoor prehistoric playground with five stories of interactive exhibits, fossil excavation experiences, and STEM-focused learning opportunities centered on sauropods. The community hosts farmer's markets, job fairs, and family-oriented events throughout the year, with membership options available for ongoing access to local experiences.

The neurologist will provide 24-hour concurrent call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) for two inpatient hospital facilities, managing neurology triage, consults, and stroke calls for an adult patient population. Coverage is structured at 7 shifts per month on an ongoing basis, with most responsibilities handled remotely and occasional in-person evaluations as clinically required. When simultaneous on-site presence is needed at both facilities, the patient will be transferred to the hospital where the clinician is already present.

Board certification in Neurology is required for all clinicians considered for this assignment.
