Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional systems engineering intern for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system. Tell me about this job. This systems engineer will work with a highly skilled team providing critical weapon systems engineering support to the U.S. Air Force. The selected candidate will be working towards a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering from an ABET accredited program, or Mathematics or Physics and a desire to work with system requirements, system interfaces, specialty engineering support and requirements verification for a complex weapon system.

The candidate must possess proficiency in communicating technical concepts to a broad audience, both orally and written. Examples of project management during formal education is expected to be presented during the interview. The strongest candidates will have completed coursework in systems engineering.

In this position, you will provide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout engineering development, deployment and sustainment. You will help support several hundred personnel providing the government with ICBM expertise.
