• Participating in safety and housekeeping activities.
• Assisting with process and product development.
• Troubleshooting upset conditions.
• Using statistical methods and data analysis to guide decision making.
• Leading safety, quality & efficiency improvement efforts.
• Leading team member training efforts.
• Working closely with operation and maintenance teams to ensure optimal melt shop performance.
• Base schedule is Mon‑Fri dayshift; nights and weekend work may be required to support the melt shop team.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, metallurgical, or comparable engineering field

• Strong statistical knowledge and experience
• Six sigma or similar problem-solving experience
• Prior QMOS experience
• Melt Shop operational experience
• Understanding of AMI Smart Furnace application
