Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Job Location: North Salt Lake, UT (Onsite Position Monday-Friday)

Job Duration: 6 months contract-to-direct hire, long‑term

Start date: 1/12/26

Pay range: $25-$45/hr W2 DOE

• Design and draft redlines of P&IDs, PFDs, 3D Models, Piping Plans & Elevations, Piping Layouts and Isometrics, Civil/Structural & Electrical drawings.
• Perform field walk-downs of piping & instrument diagrams (P&IDs), capturing differences between drawings and in-field conditions.
• Confirm drawings against in-field conditions.
• Promote quality products within the design group.
• Communicate current workload and estimate time for creating drawings.
• Act as a key member of the project design team, working closely with checkers and project managers.

• 5-10 years of experience in Mechanical and/or Piping Design.
• Experience with Industrial and/or Oil & Gas/Refinery projects is a plus.
• Organized with the ability to keep project files and correspondence current.
• Thrives in a high‑energy environment.
• Competency in AutoCAD 2010+.
• Experience with 3D software such as Plant 3D, Cadworx is a plus.
