Join our Surgical Team in the OR at Moab Regional Hospital. This essential role supports surgeons during operations, ensures a sterile environment—including housekeeping—and contributes to safe, high‑quality surgical care.

Our ideal candidate is a compassionate, critical thinker with strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.

• Assist surgeons during operations, providing instruments and sterile equipment.
• Maintain a sterile environment and housekeeping in the OR.
• Adhere to patient safety protocols and precautions.
• Support the team during night/evening on‑call shifts.
• Participate in central sterile processing as needed.

• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures (preferred).
• Prior experience as a scrub/surgical technologist (preferred).
• Experience with central sterile processing (preferred).
• 1 year Surgical Tech experience (preferred but not required).
• Certified Surgical Tech (preferred but not required).
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Cool‑tempered, emotionally resilient, and able to handle stressful situations.

Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $31.00/hr (DOE). Overtime paid for hours over 40 per week. Additional benefits include medical insurance, mental health coverage, retirement 403(b), paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.

• Weekdays:
  Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (five weeks).
• Sixth week: evening/night on‑call only, 3:00 pm – 7:00 am, 5‑7 nights per month.
• Six‑week rotation designed for work‑life balance.
