As our Guest Services Coordinator
, you will cover routine office/clerical responsibilities for one of our resorts. You will also serve as the face of the resort as you interact with current and prospective guests who come to the office with questions and concerns.
This is a full‑time position that will start hiring after the new year. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Responsibilities- Greet and establish rapport with guests
- Field resort comments, suggestions, and complaints to the Resort Manager
- Check guests in and out for their reservations
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, typing, copying, faxing, and filing
- Complete and maintain resort records, reports, and files
- Prepare and distribute resort communications such as rule reminders, violation notices, newsletters, etc.
- Ensure office supplies are sufficiently stocked and prepare supply orders as needed
- Assist with the preparation of marketing materials
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email, and the internet
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Prior administrative experience is preferred
- Resort office or hotel front desk experience is a plus
Employees are regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift/move up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. Work hours are variable and based on guest occupancy, season, staffing, and other factors. Island Hospitality cannot guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
