Overview

Abbruzzese Brothers, Inc is seeking to add a commercial landscaping account manager to our dynamic team. The Account Manager serves as the primary client contact, overseeing their property maintenance accounts to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include building long-term client relationships, conducting property assessments, developing maintenance plans, coordinating crews, managing budgets and schedules, and identifying enhancement opportunities to grow revenue.

The role requires strong communication, organization, horticulture knowledge, project management, and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients.
  • Account Oversight: Manage a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Property Assessment & Maintenance: Conduct regular on-site property visits to assess conditions, identify potential safety hazards, and suggest landscape improvements.
  • Crew & Crew Coordination: Assist with schedule and coordinate landscaping crews, monitor work quality, and provide feedback.
  • Budget & Scheduling: Oversee budgeting for accounts, develop work plans, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Enhancement & Sales: Identify opportunities for landscape improvements and enhancement sales to grow account revenue.
  • Safety & Functionality: Focus on the overall functionality and safety of the property, addressing issues like dead branches or overgrown shrubs.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal team coordination.
  • Organization & Project Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate crews, schedules, and projects effectively.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and train field teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Horticulture Knowledge: Familiarity with plant identification, landscaping techniques, plant care, and horticulture is beneficial.
  • Sales & Business Acumen: Experience with sales, budgeting, contract negotiation, and identifying business growth opportunities.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with client accounts or field operations.
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Grounds Management Landscape.
  • Valid driver’s license, bi-lingual a plus, and proficient computer skills.
