In This Job, You Will:
- Perform visual and final dimensional inspections to verify items against blueprints, CAD drawings, specifications, quality procedures, and planning instructions.
- Use calipers, depth micrometers, height gauges, I.D. & O.D. micrometers, and portable CMMs to inspect tight tolerances on materials, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Apply geometric tolerancing to verify true positions, runouts, profiles, flatness, and perpendicularity requirements.
- Review data ensuring temperature/humidity requirements are met for in‑process and deliverable hardware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is contingent upon obtaining final clearances and program access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.
Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of additional education and/or related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
- Basic understanding of reading and interpreting blueprints.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
- Basic understanding of reading and interpreting blueprints.
Compensation: Primary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00
Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and other benefits such as health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and PTO.
