Duties and Responsibilities of the Machinist in North Salt Lake, UT:

• Apply solid knowledge of machining, materials, tooling, and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Read, interpret, and follow detailed machining and fabrication drawings and instructions accurately.
• Set up, program, and operate multiple Proto
  
  TRAK lathes (models TRAK
  1630RX and TRAK
  2470
  
  SLX), frequently running more than one machine simultaneously.
• Utilize conversational programming skills to enhance machining efficiency (if applicable).
• Operate CNC mills and manual machines as needed.
• Execute production work, handling high-mix, low-volume jobs with precision.
• Embrace challenges and actively mentor or train team members as needed.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and uphold excellence in all tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
