We are seeking a Manufacturing Shift Lead based in Milford, UT, reporting to the Production Manager. The role involves leading and supervising the team, ensuring safety, adhering to the production schedule, and troubleshooting extrusion equipment.

• Ensure all team members are wearing PPE accordingly and following LSR.
• Perform changeovers and start‑ups of the lines.
• Adjust and troubleshoot specific equipment such as puller, saw, Beller, and chamfer machines.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping on the shift and communicate any missing tools.
• Evaluate team members and provide coaching, communicating improvement areas to the Production Manager.
• Fill out accident/incident forms and timely submit to HR, the Plant Manager, and the Production Manager.
• Act as Shift Leader, coordinating with the maintenance department when a changeover is needed.
• Prioritize work for the shift and assign duties.
• Communicate effectively and hold yourself accountable at all levels.

• Extrusion experience or the ability to quickly learn extrusion operations and change‑over procedures.
• Good understanding of basic math for quick and accurate counting and calculations.
• Adaptability to changes in the work environment, handling multiple competing demands calmly and logically.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capable of lifting 70 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.

• Complete any required training.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders for this role.
• Be well‑versed in Atkore’s Business System and understand the importance of your role to daily operations.

As of the date of this posting, a good‑faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $31.25 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
