Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring UT or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience with willingness to float to Med Surg.

• Active UT or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BSN not required

• Acute care setting in a combined L&D/Mother-Baby/Postpartum/OB unit
• 3 L&D beds and postpartum rooms with 2 overflow rooms
• Average 120-130 births per day per year
• Uses Peri Calm fetal heart monitoring system
• Uses Athena EMR
• 12-hour night shifts from 6pm to 6am, 36 hours per week
• Float to Med Surg as needed
• No in-house OB/Neonatologist, only family practice available
• No 24/7 RT coverage, CRNA utilized if required
• On-call pharmacy coverage only
• CNA support shared between Med/Surg and L&D
• Provide nursing care across L&D, Mother-Baby, Postpartum, and OB services
• Any solid color scrubs permitted
