This 289-bed pediatric hospital holds a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center designation, providing a broad range of critical care services to a pediatric patient population. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient pediatric critical care coverage. EPIC EMR is utilized for patient documentation and care coordination throughout the assignment period.

About the Clinician's WorkdayA board-certified Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner is required to provide inpatient coverage on a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with shift times of 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM. Clinicians will manage an average of 7 patients per shift and are required to perform cardiac procedures, ECMO, Ventilation Therapy, CRRT, Lumbar Puncture, Chest Tube placement, and ET placement.
All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
