Goldminer's Daughter Lodge is hiring a Winter Seasonal Dining Room Server Assistant at the base of Alta Ski Area for the 2026-27 season (end of November 2026 through mid-April 2027). You will earn $15.00 per hour plus tips and average 35-40 hours per week.
This is a true entry-level hospitality role. We will train the right person who brings a solid work ethic and a willingness to learn. You will help keep the dining room running smoothly while living a mountain winter. The crew is fun and hardworking. You can get outside before or after your shift - the mountain is right outside the lodge doors.
What You Will Do- Set and clear tables, refill beverages, and assist servers between courses.
- Support dining-room setup and keep the space clean, stocked, and ready.
- Help create a seamless guest experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Obtain a valid Utah Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of employment (employee is responsible for the cost).
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Outgoing personality and excellent customer-service instincts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and work weekends and holidays.
- Hospitality experience is preferred but not required-we will train the right attitude.
On-site housing is available for most full-time seasonal employees and is a major perk for people who want to live steps from the lifts with no commute. Room and board are deducted at $25 per person per day and includes three meals, WiFi, a ski-bus pass, fitness room, hot tub, and sauna, plus an Alta or Snowbird ski pass or a $1,472.18 end-of-season payout.
First-year full-time employees who want to ski pay a $200 deposit; returning employees do not. Off-site employees receive two meals per day worked plus the same amenities and pass/payout options. Discounts available at Motherlode Powder House and Outdoor Prolink.
