At Lees Market Place, a Floral Clerk assists in the daily operations of the floral department by creating floral arrangements, maintaining product freshness, and delivering excellent guest service. This role supports both everyday floral sales and special event designs while ensuring the department remains clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Primary Position Duties:

Key Duties and Responsibilities
:

Greet and assist guests in selecting floral arrangements, plants, and gift items. Take custom orders and ensure accurate fulfillment based on customer preferences.
Design and create custom floral arrangements and bouquets for retail sale, special orders, and events.
Assist with the processing of event orders (weddings, funerals, dances) under the direction of the Floral Manager.
Order fresh flowers, supplies, and materials in a timely manner. Manage floral inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste while maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing floral department.
Provide knowledgeable and friendly assistance to customers. Address customer needs, concerns, and special requests professionally and promptly.

Guest Service:

Greet and assist guests and team members in a friendly and courteous manner.
Provide knowledgeable answers to guest and team member inquiries.
Promote and exemplify a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication with guests and team members.
Assist guests with custom floral orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and creative presentation.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations for floral arrangements and plant care based on customer needs and event type.
Build positive relationships with guests and the community.
Displays excellent problem-solving skills and prides themselves on finding the best resolution that exemplifies the “Lee’s Way- doing what’s best for our guests, our team, and our company”.

Product Handling:
