U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Utah Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance (O&M); weapons testing; facilities management; aerial, ground and seaborne targets O&M; technical, logistics and other engineering support; systems integration; electronics and communications maintenance services; and a growing cybersecurity business. We are highly focused and, among other efforts, currently operate a dozen active test and/or training ranges for the Army, Air Force and Navy.

At Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), southwest of Salt Lake City Utah, SA-TECH supports the West Desert Test Center (WDTC), the nation's designated Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) for chemical and biological defense.
The WDTC plans, conducts, evaluates, reports, and supports Chemical and Biological (CB) and non-CB testing efforts for the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, private industries, and foreign Governments (e.g., environmental assessment/impact evaluations, weapons and munitions demilitarization, chemical energetics/homemade explosive testing, unmanned systems testing, direct and indirect fire weapons testing, hazard assessments, and technical/logistical support of operations at DPG).
At DPG, SA-TECH is looking to bring a Supply Technician onto our team to support program efforts and success at this major DoD test facility. Specific duties include (but are not limited to):
* Maintain records and conduct inventories of accountable property using government computerized inventory systems such as the Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-Army, etc.
* Utilize the current Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS).
* Facilitate receipt/storage/issue/turn-in of equipment, materials, supplies, and tools through utilization of automation systems such as Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-Army.
* Accurately prepare required forms/documents and requisition processes necessary to meet local policies and directives.
* Use Army property accountability practices and standard forms to maintain property control.
* Other duties as assigned.
Work
Conditions:
* Work is mostly performed in an environmentally controlled office environment but occasional field work would expose you to the environment.
* May be required to lift and handle heavy items (50 lbs.) as well as use a variety of material-lifting equipment, such as forklifts etc.
* Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to view computer monitors for extended periods.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
* Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks that require such protective gear.
Requirements Education/Experience/Skills
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Must have experience with maintaining records and conducting inventories of accountable property.
* Must have specialized training in computerized inventory systems such as the Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-Army, etc.
* Experience as a tool and parts attendant with knowledge of government property management and associated property management documentation would be very helpful in this role.
* Experience with requisition processes and requisition documentation required.
* Documented specialized training in computerized inventory systems.
* Experience with Army property accountability practices and standard forms to maintain property control.
* Must be able to use various material-lifting equipment, such as forklifts.
* Must be able to work independently within prescribed limits with minimal supervision.
* Organized, with an ability to communicate effectively within all levels of an organization.
* A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
* Current Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
* U.S. Citizenship required and you must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain this clearance throughout employment.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
* All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver's Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.
