Position Summary:

Command Cyber Solutions seeks a full-time Strategic Advisor / Research Analyst to join our IT team at Hill AFB. The Action Officer is a key staff member responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing tasks that support the strategic goals of an organization. This role is common in military, government, and large corporate environments, where structured decision-making and operational efficiency are critical.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize information from various sources.
  • Develop actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Ensure that data and insights are accurate, timely, and relevant.
  • Draft clear, concise, and impactful documents such as reports, memos, briefings, and decision papers.
  • Maintain high standards of technical writing and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and operational teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments and agencies.
  • Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare decision packages for review and approval by senior authorities.
  • Support emergency response and contingency planning efforts.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Education, Certification & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field such as Public Administration, Business, or Military Science.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment.
  • Experience managing timelines, resources, and deliverables; tracking technical deliverables and recording meeting minutes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint applications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills; strong organizational and problem‑solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, to be proactive, creative, and professional, and to pay strict attention to detail.
